Nightwatt

About Nightwatt

Long EV road trips should feel like an adventure, not a logistics puzzle. Nightwatt was built on a simple idea: the best time to charge your car is while you are asleep.

The problem

Planning a multi-day EV trip across Europe means juggling range anxiety, charger availability, and hotel logistics. Most trip planners focus on the fastest route, which forces you into awkward mid-day charging sessions. We think there is a better way.

Our approach

Nightwatt finds Tesla Supercharger locations along your route that have hotels within walking distance. You arrive in the evening, plug in, walk to your hotel, and wake up to a full battery. No wasted time sitting at a charger during the day.

How it works

Our planner splits your journey into comfortable daily legs. At each overnight stop, we pair a Tesla Supercharger with nearby hotels sourced from OpenStreetMap, sorted by walking distance. You get direct booking links so you can compare prices and reserve your room in seconds.

Built for Europe

Nightwatt currently covers routes across the EU, UK, Norway, and Switzerland. The Tesla Supercharger network in Europe is dense enough to make overnight charging practical on almost any cross-country route. We are expanding coverage as the network grows.

Open data

Charger data comes from the Open Charge Map API. Hotel data is sourced from OpenStreetMap via Overpass. Route calculations use Mapbox Directions. We believe in building on open infrastructure and giving credit where it is due.
